Baby Storytime

Bring your littles ones to enjoy an interactive story time that includes early literacy fun with books, songs, finger plays, and body movements followed by playtime with toys. For ages 0-3.

Meet the Museum

Your Free Ticket to Fun at the Nuclear Museum! Explore our remarkable exhibits, featuring historic artifacts that offer a glimpse into the past. At 5 pm, we'll kick off engaging hands-on science activities for all ages. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about our volunteer programs, membership benefits, educational offerings, special events, group tours, and facility rentals. Throughout the event, we will also host hourly giveaways.


Yoga at Explora

Join us for a relaxing and rejuvenating yoga class with Bliss in the City’s Charlotte at Explora Science Museum! Experience yoga in the serene Rotary Room on Friday, January 24, at 6:30 PM. This all-levels class is perfect for beginners and seasoned yogis alike.

Adaptive Climbing Night and Resources at Stone Age

Welcome adaptive climbing athletes! This event is created in partnership with Adaptive Sports Program New Mexico and support from Autism Learning Collaborative.  Individuals with all types of disabilities are welcome, regardless of age or level of experience!

Adult Clay Night

Unleash your inner child at Creativity Warehouse's Adult Night! Create ceramic creatures/sculptures, play on the pottery wheel, and have some fun!



Saturday | January 25th

Read to the Dogs

Children can come to the library and practice their reading in a relaxed atmosphere with a patient listener. Trained therapy dogs will sit calmly and quietly for a story. This is a great way for children to gain confidence in their reading.

Adult Sensory Friendly Night

Join the ABQ BioPark for our first-ever low-sensory evening at the Aquarium specifically for adults! 

After the aquarium closes for the day, we're opening the doors for guests 21 and over to enjoy a quiet evening discovering the secrets of the ocean. Learn more about misunderstood sea creatures as you sip your choice of a cocktail or mocktail, see options belowOne signature drink is included with the purchase of a ticket. 

  • Enjoy special activities and learning opportunities, a quiet zone, and a sensory-friendly tool to check out. 

  • Additional beverages and a limited menu with be available for purchase at the Shark Reef Café will be open during the event.

Puzzle Swap at Marketplace

Our first event of the year is for the puzzlers out there! We are hosting a puzzle swap on January 25th from 10-12pm at Marketplace! Bring a puzzle you have completed and are ready to part with & meet with other coffee and puzzle lovers at our shop!

We ask you to bring puzzles that are not missing any pieces & bring as many puzzles as you are willing to swap!

Rock and Rescue: A Night For The Animals

Welcome to Rock and Rescue: A Night For The Animals! Get ready for an evening filled with live music, fun, and all for a great cause. Join us on Sat Jan 25, 2025 at The Historic Lobo Theater for a night you won't forget. We'll have Radioblast rocking out on stage, delicious food and drinks, and plenty of opportunities to support our furry friends in need.
