Baby Storytime

Bring your littles ones to enjoy an interactive story time that includes early literacy fun with books, songs, finger plays, and body movements followed by playtime with toys. For ages 0-3.

Toddler Time at Explora

Every Monday from 9–11 AM, the entire museum is open early for our youngest visitors to explore, play, and discover. ⁠

Free Tango Class

Puerta al Tango welcomes you to try a really fun, chill and non-judgmental style of learning authentic Argentine Tango which is a subtle and dynamic dance between equals

Plant Swap

Bring a plant, leave a plant, trade a plant. Expand your current plant library and meet other fellow plant enthusiasts in the community. We will be donating a few plants to get the collection started. Plant your intentions for the week with us Monday nights at our plant swap.

Yoga & Beer

$10 at the door covers the class, you can grab a beer or kombucha at the bar before you come up.

Stories & Music In the Sky

Join us for Stories and Music in the Sky at the Balloon Museum every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Each session will be followed by craft activities based on the weekly theme.

Every week, the Balloon Museum offers Stories in the Sky and Music in the Sky programs which are programs for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Stories in the Sky and Music in the Sky is led by Storyteller and Music Educator, Maryse Lapierre, who brings stories to life as she shares stories and music from around the world in multiple languages while incorporating books, songs, fingerplays, and movement.

Arbor Day Celebration

To celebrate National Arbor Day, the City of Albuquerque Urban Forestry has teamed up with Project Feed The Hood to give away 100 trees to the community. Trees are provided after participants complete a scavenger hunt to get stamps from partner booths in the garden. Trees are first come, first served until supplies last.
